Many restaurants, businesses, and attractions are extending their thanks to veterans and active duty military personnel by offering deals and discounts throughout Veterans Day weekend.

FOOD AND DINING

Acapulco: Veterans and current servicemembers will receive a complimentary three-item combo meal Sunday, Nov. 11. The offer is available for dine-in only, from 3 p.m. until closing time, and proof of service is required. The offer is not available during brunch.

Applebee's: Veterans and active duty servicemembers can choose a free meal from a special menu Sunday, Nov. 11. Proof of military service is required. The offer is valid for dine-in only. Learn more.

Arooga's Grille House & Sports Bar: All veterans and troops will receive one complimentary item from a fixed menu Monday, Nov. 12 - all day and at all locations (excluding Patchogue, N.Y.). The offer is valid for dine-in only, and drinks are not included. Valid proof of service is required.

Bar Louie: From open to close Sunday, Nov. 11, every Bar Louie throughout the country will offer veterans and military personnel a free burger or flatbread up to a $15 value when they show a valid military ID.

BJ's Restaurant & Brewhouse: All servicemembers can enjoy a complimentary entree up to $12.95, plus a free Dr Pepper beverage, by presenting a military ID or proof of service at any BJ's Restaurant & Brewhouse nationwide. The offer is valid Sunday, Nov. 11, for dine-in guests only at BJ's Restaurant & Brewhouse locations and is limited to one entree and Dr Pepper beverage per person.

Buffalo Wild Wings: On Sunday, Nov. 11, participating Buffalo Wild Wings restaurants will offer free small boneless or traditional wings and fries for all veterans or active duty servicemembers. The offer is for dine-in only, and a valid military ID is required.

California Pizza Kitchen: On Sunday, Nov. 11, U.S. military members, both past and present, get a complimentary entrée from a special Veterans Day menu at all participating California Pizza Kitchen locations nationwide. Participating guests also will receive a card to redeem for a buy-one, get-one free offer on pizza, pasta, or salad during a return visit Nov. 12-18 (while supplies last). Learn more.

Chipotle Mexican Grill: All active duty servicemembers, guard members and reservists, military spouses, and retired servicemembers with valid ID can receive a buy-one-get-one burrito, bowl, salad, or taco orders from open to close on Sunday, Nov. 11.

Cracker Barrel: On Nov. 11, Cracker Barrel will offer veterans a complimentary piece of Double Chocolate Fudge Coca-Cola® Cake or one of its Crafted Coffee beverages at all 656 Cracker Barrel Old Country Store locations.

Denny's: All active, inactive, and retired military personnel can enjoy a free Build Your Own Grand Slam Monday, Nov. 12. The offer is valid for dine-in only from 5 a.m. to noon with a valid military ID or DD Form 214. Learn more.

Dunkin' Donuts: On Sunday, Nov. 11, anyone who shows a military ID at participating Dunkin' Donuts restaurants nationwide will be offered a free donut of their choice with no purchase necessary, while supplies last.

El Torito: Veterans and current servicemembers will receive a complimentary three-item combo meal Sunday, Nov. 11. The offer is available for dine-in only, from 3 p.m. until closing time, and proof of service is required. The offer is not available during brunch.

Emmet's Social Table (Waxhaw, N.C.): Veterans and servicemembers get a free meal Sunday, Nov. 11, and Monday, Nov. 12. The offer consists of free tapas with the purchase of a drink, and its maximum discount per military guest is $15. Emmet's also offers a 10-percent discount on food purchases to its military guests every day.

Famous Dave's: All former and current military personnel get a free Two Meat Salute (served with choice of one side and a corn bread muffin) Sunday, Nov. 11 and Monday, Nov. 12. The offer is valid for dine-in only, and proof of service is required. Learn more.

Fatz Southern Kitchen: All veterans and active military can receive a free World Famous Calabash Chicken basket Monday, Nov. 12. In addition, from Nov. 1-30, all veterans and active military members will receive 25 percent off their entrée each time they visit Fatz.

Fogo de Chão: Veterans and active duty servicemembers get 50 percent off their meal Nov. 9-12, plus up to three guests also receive 10 percent off. Military ID is required. 

Friendly's: Veterans and active duty servicemembers, with a valid military ID or honorable discharge card, get a free breakfast, lunch, or dinner on Sunday, Nov. 11. The offer is valid at all Friendly's locations for dine-in guests only and is limited to one breakfast or lunch/dinner entrée per person. 

Ginger Monkey (Chandler, Ariz.): Veterans and troops with valid military ID get a free TV dinner this Nov. 11.

Golden Corral: Veterans, military retirees, and active duty servicemembers, including National Guard and Reserve members, can enjoy a free meal Monday, Nov. 12, from 5-9 p.m. Learn more.

Hooters: On Sunday, Nov. 11, all veterans will receive a free entrée from the Veterans Day menu by presenting a military ID or proof of service at any Hooters location nationwide. Learn more.

Houlihan's Restaurant + Bar: Veterans and active duty servicemembers can receive a complimentary entree from a special menu on Sunday, Nov. 11. Proof of service is required. The offer is available for dine-in only, and beverages and gratuity are not included.

Huddle House: All active duty and retired servicemembers and veterans with proper ID will receive a free order of Sweet Cakes Nov. 9-12.

JJ's Red Hots (Charlotte, N.C.): Servicemembers and veterans get a free meal, including unlimited hot dogs, sausages, sides, and non-alcoholic drinks, all day on Veterans Day. The offer is valid for dine-in only. 

Kings Family Restaurant: Monday, Nov. 12, Kings Family Restaurant will be celebrating Veterans Day with a free meal for all veterans and active military members. The free entrée choices include Double Down Breakfast, Biscuits & Sausage Gravy Breakfast, Classic Burger, Hot Roasted Turkey Sandwich, and Kings Meatloaf Dinner.

Little Caesars: On Sunday, Nov. 11, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., veterans and active duty military members can receive their free $5 Lunch Combo, which features four slices of Little Caesars popular Detroit-style DEEP!DEEP! Dish pizza, paired with a 20-ounce Pepsi product. Proof of service is required. Learn more.

McCormick & Schmick's: Veterans and Gold Star honorees (parents and spouse) can receive a free entree from a special menu Sunday, Nov. 11, at participating restaurants. Veterans must show proof of military service, and offer is for dine-in only. Learn more.

O'Charley's: All active and retired servicemembers are invited to enjoy a free meal from the “Veterans Thank You Menu” all day on both Nov. 11 and Nov. 12. Proof of military service is required. Restaurant participation might vary by location.

On the Border: Veterans and servicemembers get a free Free Create-Your-Own Combo 2 meal with rice and beans, plus chips and salsa, Nov. 11. Military ID or proof of service is required. Learn more.

P.J.W. Restaurant Group (P.J. Whelihan's, The Pour House, The ChopHouse, and Treno): P.J. Whelihan's will be giving away free 10-piece orders of their famous wings at all 17 locations, and The Pour House locations also will offer an order of their house wings. At The ChopHouse and Treno, a decadent dessert will be complimentary. Valid military ID is required.

Red Lobster: Veterans, active duty servicemembers, and reservists get a free appetizer or dessert from a special menu Sunday, Nov. 11 and Monday, Nov. 12. Guests need to show a valid military ID or proof of service to redeem this offer. Learn more.

Red Robin Gourmet Burgers and Brews: On Sunday, Nov. 11, all veterans and active duty servicemembers can enjoy a free Red's Tavern Double Burger served with Bottomless Steak Fries at participating restaurants nationwide. Learn more.

Ruby Tuesday: Military personnel and veterans can get a free appetizer (up to $10 in menu value) Sunday, Nov. 11. Valid military ID is required.

Shoney's: Veterans and servicemembers can enjoy a free all-you-care-to-eat, freshly-prepared breakfast bar Monday, Nov. 12, from 6 a.m.-11 a.m. local time.

Starbucks: Veterans, active duty servicemembers, and military spouses receive a free tall (12 fluid oz.) hot brewed coffee Veterans Day (Nov. 11) at any participating Starbucks store. Learn more.

White Castle: All veterans and active duty military members who dine in or visit the drive thru at one of the nearly 400 participating White Castle restaurants nationwide can receive a free combo meal Nov. 11-12. Military ID is required.

SHOPPING, PRODUCTS, AND SERVICES

Food Lion: Active duty and retired military personnel can receive 10 percent off their grocery bill Monday, Nov. 12. To receive the discount, active duty military and veterans and their families should present their MVP shoppers card, along with military identification, if available, at the time of checkout.

Great Clips: Great Clips will honor veterans and servicemembers with free haircuts on Veterans Day. Customers who visit a Great Clips salon on Veterans Day will also have an opportunity to pay it forward by receiving a “Free Haircut Card” that can be given to a veteran and redeemed Nov. 12 to Dec. 31. Publix: Veterans and active military personnel and their families can save 10 percent on groceries Nov. 11. Proof of service is required. Learn more.

Sears Garage Services: Anyone with a valid military ID can save 10 percent off any product or service Nov. 9-12.

Southeastern Grocers (BI-LO, Fresco y Más, Harveys Supermarket, and Winn-Dixie stores): Active duty servicemembers and veterans can receive an 11-percent discount on qualifying grocery purchases Nov. 11.

TOMS: All active duty servicemembers, veterans, National Guard members, and military spouses or dependents get a 20-percent discount on all full-priced styles. Redeem the offer at TOMS.com/veterans-day-promo.

Walgreens: Nov. 9-11, customers with a Walgreens Balance Rewards card and valid military ID or proof of service will receive 20 percent off regular price eligible store items at any Walgreens or Duane Reade drugstore nationwide. A Balance Rewards customer loyalty program membership is free and can be obtained at checkout. Family members of veterans and military personnel also are eligible for the discount. Learn more.

Aquarium of the Pacific (Long Beach, Calif.): Veterans and active duty military personnel who show valid service ID receive free admission Nov. 11. Learn more.

Colonial Williamsburg: All active duty servicemembers, reservists, National Guard members, veterans, and military retirees and their dependents receive free single-day admission Nov. 9-12.

Des Moines Botanical Center (Des Moines, Iowa): Veterans receive free admission to the Des Moines Botanical Center Sunday, Nov. 11. Learn more.

Harley-Davidson Museum (Milwaukee): Nov. 9-11 the Harley-Davidson Museum will offer free museum entry for all active duty servicemembers and veterans, and their families. Learn more.

LEGOLAND Florida Resort: Active duty servicemembers and veterans will receive free admission, free parking, and hotel discounts at LEGOLAND Florida Resort for the month of November. Learn more.

Main Event Entertainment: On Sunday, Nov. 11, veterans and active duty servicemembers will receive one entrée from a select menu and a complimentary $10 in arcade play that can be used on all Main Event arcade games. Valid military ID or proof of service required.

Mount Vernon (Mount Vernon, Va.): All active duty, former, or retired military personnel receive free admission Sunday, Nov. 11. Learn more.

National World War I Museum and Memorial (Kansas City, Mo.): During Veterans Day weekend (Friday, Nov. 9 to Sunday, Nov. 11), veterans and active duty military personnel receive free admission, while the general public receives half-price admission. Discounted rates are only available on-site at the museum's ticketing counter. Learn more.

New Mexico Museum of Space History (Alamogordo, N.M.): Veterans receive free admission to the museum all day Nov. 11. Learn more.

Newseum (Washington, D.C.): Servicemembers and veterans, plus one guest, get free admission Saturday, Nov. 10 through Monday, Nov. 12. To take advantage of this offer, servicemembers should present military ID or another form of military service credential or wear their uniforms. Learn more.

9/11 Memorial & Museum (New York City): From Wednesday, Nov. 7 to Sunday, Nov. 11, the 9/11 Memorial & Museum will host a series of events and special programs for veterans and their families, as well as the visiting public. Throughout the tribute, veterans will receive free museum admission. Veterans also will receive half-price museum tickets for two family members during the tribute. Ticketing for Salute to Service will be available at a dedicated ticket table at the museum entrance.  Learn more.

NY Waterway: Active duty servicemembers and military veterans who come in uniform or with a valid military ID on Sunday, Nov. 11 will receive free ferry/bus service. Learn more.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium (Tacoma, Wash.): Currently serving military personnel and veterans are admitted for free Nov. 10-12. Immediate family members will receive half-off general admission. Proof of military service is required.  Learn more.

Riverbanks Zoo (Columbia, S.C.):  Active duty and retired servicemembers with a military ID card receive free admission in honor of Veterans Day. Learn more.

Texas Grand Ranch: Visit Texas Grand Ranch during its new section grand opening this Veterans Day weekend, Nov. 10-12, and a $100 donation will be made to Camp Hope in your name, just for showing up. Learn more.  

USACE Recreation Areas: The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) is waiving day-use fees at its more than 2,800 USACE-operated recreation areas nationwide Nov. 11-12 in observance of Veterans Day. The waiver covers fees for boat launch ramps and swimming beaches. It does not apply to camping and camping-related services or fees for specialized facilities (group picnic shelters) and events.
